Dorothy Narcisse, LCSW-C, is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker, professor, and dedicated advocate with two decades of experience in mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and program management. Drawing from her personal encounters with the justice system, Dorothy has cultivated a unique ability to connect with underserved communities and justice-impacted individuals. Her work is defined by a passion for solution-focused and trauma-informed care, empowering her clients to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
Dorothy’s leadership is grounded in clinical excellence, advocacy, and a steadfast commitment to resilience and sustainable growth. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. She has also completed 20 doctoral credits in Public Policy and Administration at Walden University, with plans to finalize her doctorate in the near future.
When asked about herself, Dorothy highlights her spirituality and her pride in being a mother of two. In her free time, she pursues personal fitness and nutrition, reflecting her dedication to holistic wellness and self-improvement.
